How it all began:
Once upon a time a really crazy guy from Wisconsin went up to beautiful, pristine Lake Hartwell and on one weekend he built a big beautiful castle. It had air conditioning, a loft and two bedrooms and one bathroom and lovely stainless steel appliances (these were especially difficult to build). He would go to his palace at the lake every weekend until one weekend he heard about a ‘fun’ group who ran and drank beer. The crazy guy from Wisconsin quickly became a hasher and his life slowly began to change. The appliances turned to almond, the soft downy beds became blow up mattresses, the air conditioning kept working though so he kept going to his castle every other weekend because he could not miss his favorite hash – BLACK SHEEP!! And he lived happily ever after with his sheep?
Yup – with his sheep, every year at the

ANNUAL CAMPOUT AT LAKE HARTWELL.

Here’s the sheep poop on the weekend – Cost $40
Not a kid friendly experience.
No dogs are permitted in cabin – so if you are bringing your pup – have a plan for keeping him/her under control at all times.
Friday night – pasta for everyone who shows up.
So Co Hash at 8 ish – good trail – not too far but lots of fun
Shooting Star Hash at 10 PM – we need a light but nothing else since all we do is go from shot stop to shot stop and the trail is very well marked with fallen hashers.

Saturday Breakfast – good food – usually pan cakes or eggs with sausage and basil (Deposit Slit’s favorite recipe) or both

Saturday lunch – sandwiches – made by the loving hands of hashers – clean hands.

Black Sheep Hash – Saturday - Gather at cabin at 11:30 – grab your lunch and get in a ride. Leave for trail at 11:45. – eagle and turkey trails
Circle in the water – this is really good.

Supper – prepared by Gentri – either pork or chicken done in the Cajun Microwave. Accompanied by salads and – veggie options will be available.

Saturday Night – sing along in the water – or just float along in the water. Or play games – like Attack UNO; Imaginiff (this is very unique and includes some of our favorite people).

Sunday Breakfast – bagels, pancakes, eggs, whatever tastes good we will have it.

Hang over hash – whenever anyone wants to lay a trail to the lake for us to float for the afternoon.

Outdoor clean up – 2-3 empty keg holders, coolers, consolidate drinks and bring Sani drinks on float – well only if you really want to – but you get the idea of the general policing of the outdoor area.

Very important Job
Take garbage back to town in your vehicle – 6 people will need to volunteer to take one or two bags home with them. If we leave with Oops – he has to pay for each bag at the dump.

Lastly – floater – use as needed – 6 each day
