Hare Lies:

Trail is not stroller-friendly, although a stroller-friendly option will be given to those who wish to expose their children to such nonsense. End is not particularly dog-friendly; however, if you keep your dog on a leash, it should be okay. Be warned...there are lots of cats for the dogs to terrorize at the end.

Details:

The cost is $6.00.
You get a fine and varied selection of beer and orange-colored snacks (and chocolate-chip cookies to enjoy with your beer!). Maybe birthday cake...maybe Mexican Hot Chocolate...anything is possible.
We meet at 2:00 for a 2:30 start.
PLEASE CARPOOL! Parking will be tight...
Bring a bag with a change of clothes and shoes. Your feet will get wet. Bring a chair if you want to sit. Bring something to keep you warm. Tauntaun carcass works quite well.

Directions:

SHOAL CREEK PARK II http://tinyurl.com/2375rd

  • 3643 Glenwood Road, Decatur, GA 30032
  • Take I-75/85 to I-20 EAST
  • Take a LEFT onto GLENWOOD Exit 61B (this is the second Glenwood exit...the one past Maynard Terrace)
  • Go about 3.5 miles (you'll cross Candler Road)
  • Shoal Creek Park II will be on your RIGHT...do NOT park in Shoal Creek Park I
  • Look for hashers hiding their valuables

  • We will have a "t-shirt swap." Bring any hash t-shirts you wish to pass on to another existence and we will offer them to the hash gods, or other hashers, as the case may be. You do not have to give a shirt to take a shirt...and we don't care if it is totally manky as long as it is laundered. Any shirts not collected will be donated to Goodwill or some other charitable organization.
    In a nutshell-
    1. Yes- they must be hash-approved shirts
    2. Yes- they have to be as clean as you can get them (stains add character, right?...best leave my CSI kit at home)
    3. No- you don't have to give a shirt to take a shirt
