The Atlanta area hashes are participating in Atlanta’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Here are details

Pre-Parade
Meet Up - If you don't want to face the traffic downtown then - Meet at Shamrock Plaza at 10AM and carpool to the parade start. We may have enough money for Bloody Mary’s before we go parading.
Drink Up - There is absolutely NO alcohol allowed on the parade route so plan to prime accordingly

Parade Time
Dress - Wear green, be creative, and keep in mind:

o Shoes, like a Red Dress you are walking
o Your outfit might last through the Post Parade Hash

Give-A-Ways – Instead of receiving Give-A-Ways, we will be giving them out to parade fans – beads for adults and teens, foil wrapped green ‘coins’ – bubble gum for 5-12 yr olds; stickers for the little ones.
Banner – There will be a hash banner “Honorable Atlanta Society of Hashers” leading the pack.
Vehicle – We will have ONE motorized vehicle – Della dressed in green - a few folks will ride and wave.

Post Parade
Hash - The Atlanta and Pinelake Hash, hared by Doggy Style and BWANA will begin at Shamrock Plaza at the corner of North Druid Hills & Lawrenceville Highway.

Parade Assembly Area: The 124th Atlanta St. Patrick’s Parade will assemble on West Peachtree Street, Peachtree Street and Ralph McGill. Groups will assemble by unit on Ralph McGill, Peachtree Street, and West Peachtree Street. The main body of the parade will build on West Peachtree over the Downtown Connector (South of Pine), Peachtree (between Pine and Ralph McGill) and on Ralph McGill (between Courtland and West Peachtree). Easy safe access to this area can be had by way of the Civic Center MARTA Station which sits above the Downtown Connector at West Peachtree.

Driving Directions To Parade

From I-20 East, West :

From I-75 / I-85 going Northbound:
Take 75-85 North, stay in right hand lanes.
Take exit 249B Pine Street/Civic Center -stay in right lane.
Turn Right on Peachtree Street
OR Take Courtland to Ralph McGill

From Georgia 400 &
From I-75 / I-85 going Southbound:

Take 85 South to Exit 249D North Avenue
Make a left turn on North Avenue.
Travel one block to Spring Street (one way going south) and turn RIGHT.
Make a left on Pine Street. (Follow sign to West Peachtree)
Unload at West Peachtree or Peachtree
